This looks just fine... A worthy addition to my favs!

I'm wondering : is this a charcoal drawing on which you put a Photoshop filter to render the impressionism effect?

Thank you for the comment and the fav. :)

The image was created entirely with Corel Painter 9 and a Wacom tablet - digitally (just Our Fingers actually). No filters - don't even think We were using PS creatively at the time.

So you use Corel softwares? I guess I should check them out, but I'm afraid it once again is going to require hours spent at internet tutorials...

Anyway, I should move my lazy ass and start learning about all that (and PS as well, while I'm at it!). I've got a Wacom tablet of my own, you see, and it would be about time I get to use it.

Keep up the good work, buddy!

Painter (a slightly cut down version) sometimes comes with a Wacom tablet. We prefer Painter to PS as it tries to mimic "natural" paint media, oils, pens, pencils etc. Plus Painter is simpler - to Our minds anyway! We just started by splashing stuff around and experimenting. Give it a go - you might be surprised how easy it is. :D

Interesting... I surely will try it, see what I can do. To be fair, I too find PS hard to handle without any background formation. Thanks for the tip!
